    45nrth D5 in 27.5 flavor

    http://45nrth.com/products/dillinger-5-27.5

Looks like 45nrth is adding the D5 (27.5x4.5) to the D4 that they had out last season in the 27.5 flavor. They also added a 29x2.6 in the Wrathchild lineup.

I am interested in the 4.5 D5. Curious to see it when it hits the trail...

Great, so it'll measure about 4" actual, just like their 26" version.

If you run it on 70mm rims.

Just measured the casing on a new B Fat D5 compared to the same nominal size Cake Eater and Gnarwhal.

D5 is 242mm flat bead to bead.
    CE is 260mm.
    Gnarwhal is 245mm.
    Barebgazi is 254mm.

Coming from you that's a definite compliment.

    BUT

Keep in mind I have a shop here, dedicated to plus and fat stuff.

Of the tires listed, only 6 of them are "mine", as in "in use by the wife and I": 2 x 4.5 Gnar, 2 x 4.0 Gnar, and 2 x 4.5 CE. All studded.

The others are new on the shelf, awaiting the call to be shipped to their new homes...

If it weren't for the all nice 26" wheelsets you built me...I would be balls deep in trying 27.5 tires.
    I'm the victim here.

I've purchased several sets of tires and wheels from Mike, great pricing also.
