    29+ rims on 150/197 hubs?

    Hey,
I am riding around on a Fatback Rhino FLT with 4.8s. I am thinking of lacing up some 29+ wheels after seeing some on a Growler bike at Dirtfest. I was thinking about using Fatback's proprietary hubs laced to some WTB asyms. I could be off my rocker (imminently possible).

If anyone has any suggestions, I am interested.

Also, what is the largest 29er tire I can fit in a Bluto?

    Thanks.

Asym rims don't really make sense and certainly aren't needed with 150/197 hubs. Fortunately there are piles of 35, 40, and 45mm rims out there that are drilled on center.

mikesee, side question, have you tried these tires? Duro Crux Tire - Jones Bikes
    29+ x 3.25
Seems like more volume and a possible sweet spot between plus and fat.
But no bluto compat I assume.

I've been tempted by the size but the tread makes no sense for where I live and ride.
