On another bike I had a 1x9 setup on, I used an MRP 1x and it worked exactly as advertised.

As far as the BFL, I would just go to your LBS and have them order them thru QBP. That's what I did for my Nate.

QBP is the ultimate source, ie. anyone selling them online got them from QBP. Surly is a QBP brand.

    I use an e.Thirteen XCX.

    Set it and forget it.

I've been looking at one of these
Jtek Engineering dropstop chain anti drop device
    I figure it'll do double-duty as a shim...
If Huffy made an airplane, would you fly in it?

That's the way the MRP 1.x and lots of others mount, but the one you linked to isn't really adjustable in any way. It would probably work decently though, if set up right

neither the e-13 or the mrp appear to be compatible with a front derailleur in any way shape or form...might be an issue for some...ergo the Jtek.

I believe the e.Thirteen is the lightest.

    54 grams.
