170 9zero7 with big fat larrys and 100mm rims?

I am in the process of building the above bike now and originally decided to set it up with rd's and nates but the more I think about it I am wanting the biggest possible for sand float.
I know guys do put them on but I did hear of some having clearance issues after the tires relaxed. Does that happen to the tubeless setups or maybe the lower tpi casings?
    Thanks in advance

If I had a ten speed setup in the rear, I would truncate the rear cassette to get them to fit. Of course, it maybe a tire on the frame deal. At that point, not much you can do.

I inquired on the tires at Fatbike, but on a different rim. Here's what they said: "BFLs on Clown Shoes will fit within the frame, but it will require you to use the Surly MWOD crank. This will change effect the chain line, so itís generally not something we recommend. However, there are a number of customers who are running this setup and really enjoy it."
