    Updated K2 Zed 20"

Thanks to bronco5's post about how he updated his K2 Zed 20" for his sons. Original Post

I had performed a similar update to a Zed I found, and my older daughter had two great years of riding on it.

Now it was time to pass the bike down to my other daughter, and a refresh was in order.

    - A repaint in colors chosen by my daughter. $20
    - New front fork - XCM HLO AIR SL 20
    - Disk brakes, required by the new fork. Tektro HD-M290
    - New hubs, for the rotors. Shimano M525A
    - Rear disk brake adaptor - A2Z Rear Disk Brake Mount
    - New square taper BB, to round it out

The refresh turned out great, and my daughter was excited for her new bike.

The longer fork changed the geometry a little bit, but its still a great position.

Would love to answer any questions about the refreshed build.

The fork has been great so far. Feels solid with no play.

We have done a few rides and it is still buttery with no stiction. I'll post an update after a few more months of use. They claim it is fully serviceable, which should extend it's life as well.
