    Review/Experience on YT Primus 24?

Are there any real rider/kid reviews on the YT Primus 24?

Does anyone know what frame with shock weighs?

I asked YT (USA) and they did not know.

Bike listed at 27.11 lbs which is pretty light considering the burley tires/wheels, and heavier NX cranks/cassette.

    Just a bump.

    Anyone own one?

    Comparisons to Trailcraft or Commencal?

It's a new bike that YT says it will be available Sep. 16, so user reviews are probably going to be hard to come by right now....

My understanding is a batch was released this Spring and sold out. Then they had another batch that sold out in August, then the next ones arriving in September.

But maybe I am wrong and it has never actually hit US soil and it was all just dates on their website.

Ah, got it. I thought the release date just kept getting pushed further back but I haven't followed it closely. I definitely haven't seen any reviews or other press since their February press releases and Google turns up nothing.

Agree. Would have expected someone to post if one had arrived.

Contacted YT today and they said one batch had been delivered prior, assuming Spring.

Would love if some who bought could review.

    Thanks in advance.

We saw two in the lift line at Highland, but I didn't get to talk to folks.

One specific question I had is whether anyone has tried a dropper. There is the "kink" in the seat tube that might make it hard to find one that will fit in terms of length which is a bummer.

The oneup 100-120 insertion is 207mm

    KS Lev 80mm is 170mm, 100mm is 190mm.

One up nice as can adjust and much cheaper.

    YT provided this information:

Primus 24: Max insertion depth 190mm
Primus 26: Max insertion depth 220mm

So a Lev integra 100mm would fit all the way in or close.
