    Need 24" mtb tires?

Hi all, I wanted to share something I just found--a real mtb knobby for your kids' bikes. Previously, there was only the Maxxis Snyper at a skinny 2.0 (only 1.9 mounted) but it does have a nice XC tread pattern. And there are a few other BMX patterns but they really aren't mtb trail worthy. Now there's Kenda's BoosterPro 2.2 x 24! I run the 29er 2.4 and 2.2 (F and R respectively) and they're awesome--they roll faster than Maxxis's Ikon and Ardent Race and corner great, so I'm sure the smaller size is good too. And it's even tubeless ready! Oh, there's even a 2.2 x 20 for the littlest rippers.

vee crown gem aren't bad. just pay attention to make sure you get the non wire bead and the higher tpi. Otherwise there are rocket rons. I think I ordered mine from Trailcraft, but I can't remember.

And Brood. And aren't the DHF/DHR available in 24? And some other Schwalbes? Plenty of choices in 24...not that another one is a bad thing.

Schwalbe has 4 legitimate MTB tires at this point and 2 others that are more geared towards street/mixed riding.

Commencal sells the Vee Tire Flow Snap in a 24x2.4 skin wall for extra style points. They also sell the Crown Gem in a 24x2.6 skin wall which is awesome if it fits between the dropouts.
