24" Wheels on 26" Frame Build

Built this up fro my 10 year old son for Christmas.

He was coming off a 20". Needed a 24" size but I didn't want to buy a 24" since he was growing so quick.

Saw this 26" XS frame for a great price and figured it would work.

Once he gets bigger I can just slap some 26" wheels on there.

Had some spare part in parts bin that worked and bought some new stuff for him.

Fits him great an he loves it!

Nice, I was initially a little concerned about the BB and pedal height, but doesn't look too bad at all. Good way to not have to upgrade bikes for a long time for a kid.

It's a good way to extend the use out of the bike. You can go 24/24 then 24/26 then 26/26 as they grow...only works with disc brakes obviously.
