    Wreckoning lyrik vs rc2

I'm trying to spec my wreckoning build and having second thoughts on the fork. I initially spec'd it with the fox 36 but now wondering if I should go with the lyrik.

One thing that makes me second guess myself is the lyrik is said to have better small bump compliance and plusher in top of the travel. I have the rc2 on my calling and like them but my one complaint is dealing with small bumps. Here in AZ we have a ton of that type of riding.

The 2018 36 RC2 is heads and tails above the previous version for small bump sensitivity. Plus, then you can later add a Push coil conversion if you like and have the holy grail of long travel front suspension.

Or just put a stellar fork like the ribbon air or coil on it from the start so you wonít need to spend the money on after market tuning for a shit fork that has the same problems itís always had

I agree with this. 2018 RC2 is far better in every way that the previous versions. Running stock 2018 on one bike and just replaced a lyric on my evil with a Pushed 36 coil. Push version is far superior in my opinion. Good luck with your decision. Lots of good options out there.

What about a Yari with an Avy cartridge. Yari is same chassis as Lyrik and with the Avy cart you would be cheaper than the Lyrik but with cumstom tuned damper. Just a thought. Here's a link for a Yari at $511 shipped. The Avy cart is $450. You'd be under $1000 for what I would think would be an awesome fork.
