New question here. Wreckoning - 11.6 - settings

    Background :
Had (still do) a Pivot Firebird (26") and it was set just the perfect balance of super plush and stable for all day climbs. Then came the Capra for a season and it was undersized but a fun bike on the descents.

In strolled the deal of a lifetime on a Wrecker with full dentist build; Nobl wheels (2.5 DHF/2.4 WTB Vigilante), X01 Eagle, Saint, 11.6 w/425lb spring, Lyrik @ 170mm

I'd be about 171lb naked with shoes on, but I travel heavy and clothed so I'm looking more like just a tad over 180lbs. Sag looks bang on 30%

For descending, I've got the 11.6 set as (based on Push's recommended setup):
    LSC - 13 (Push factory @ 10)
    HSC - 14 (Push factory @ 14)

    My trails :
The Interior of BC, where I live is techy, square edge, wheel busting rocks on moon dust.

    My ride sensation :
The wrecker feels absolutely amazing when up to race pace and absolutely on fire. However, I am not always riding like this as I'm just coming off a wrist injury and still do not have enough strength back to maintain Full Pinned. At about 40-70% speed, it is a near horrible ride. I can feel every knotch and every bump.
I can't recall ever bottoming out, but I do feel the G-out on some turns.

    Solutions ? :
Any ideas what I should try? I've been trying all sorts of variations of LSC/HSC but just never get to where I want. Could this be an impossible goal now that I've got carbon 29 hoops coming from a 7" 26 bike?

What are other's 11.6 setting for trail/DH riding?

And because everyone loves photos ....

It sounds like you might have bought this used? Was the 11-6 tuned for someone of a different weight?

Sorry, can't help with the settings; I've only dreamed of owning an 11-6.

The 11.6 purchased with the Wreckoning. It was set for my weight and riding style (hence the aforementioned proper 30% sag).

Call Push. They can and will help you with tuning over the phone.

Great suggestion, I totally spaced on that.

I was running just right, but then I landed on one of our signature snaggle tooth rocks and blew up the rim. Now I run a few psi higher than I want. I know this makes it rough, especially in conjunction with the carbon wheels.
    2.5 DHF exo @ 23psi
    2.4 Vigilante tough @ 25psi

As mentioned before, make sure you have the right spring for your weight.

Awesome - congrats on the find!

I've heard that coil forks make for incredible small-bump compliance... So that may help a bit on the slow speed bumpiness?? I've heard nothing but enthusiasm for the Push ACS-3. Not sure it fits the Lyrik, tho...

You seem to have everything I want. Wanted Pivot Firebird. Then saw YT Capra. Now looking at Evil Wreckoning What's your height and inseam? I have yet to test ride, but talked to Evil and they recommend Small. What size are you riding?

6-1 and I ride a large Wreckoning. Had a large Capra and it felt like a child's bike. The Wrecker feels like a more XC version of my Firebird and that is the sweet spot.

Hey all you dudes out there with an ElevenSix on a Wreckoning, how hard is it to adjust your rebound? I've looked at a few pics and it looks like it might be tight fitting my stumpy little fat fingers in there to change it. On the Mach 6 it was easy to adjust all the ElevenSix features. On the Wrecker it looks as if the Hi/Lo compression and mode switch are easy but the rebound looks diabolical.

    Cheers Scott.
