What's up with the Scott Cup for 2019?

They announced a schedule "coming soon" a couple months ago... Everyone else has released their dates. Is it no more?

I heard they have some dates locked in (Angelfire again) but they're just not releasing them yet. At least it sounds like it's indeed a go!

BicycleColorado.org has a bunch of "save the date" pages for the Enduro Cup. Same weekends as 2018 from what I can quickly see.
    Moab May 4, 2019
    Angel Fire June 8, 2019
    Durango July 13, 2019
    Powderhorn July 27, 2019
    Deer Valley August 24, 2019

Like everyone, I'm trying to plan as well.

Wonder if that's inside info or just a guesstimate based on last year... Only race I could make based on those dates would be Deer Valley. I've wanted to hit that one for awhile but was also hoping to be able to do angel fire.

So I just got this back from the email address for the Scott Enduro Cup

Eli Davis Jan 23 at 3:36 PM

Thanks for reaching out. We are looking to have everything announced in the coming weeks.

    Cheers,
    Eli

I read over on a FB page that they might have lost some big sponsors and they are scrambling to get things straightened up or just biding their time to shut it down. This late in the game, i'm going with shutting it down

Pretty sad if so and I wonder if it was mismanagement. I know thereís a ton of moving parts with permits and insurance and venue fees but hopefully they found the funding or whatever it is theyíre looking for. Itís going to be a real bummer to lose that series as I think it was probably the best/most fun, in the area. Iím fairly certain they had dates reserved but if they lost their title sponsors that late in the game itís probably pretty hard to find a replacement. Hopefully they can get something together for 2020. In the mean time Revolution Enduro has a shot to really take over their spot 👍👍👍

Now that RE lost their main event (most popular), I hope they can still attract people. They're good guys and fun races.

really hope the Scott Enduro Cup releases an amazing calendar this year. I was looking forward to finally race in Angel Fire as I never had the opportunity to...

Yea it is getting pretty late. I keep holding off on the BME's because I'd rather race the Scott Cup. Unfortunately the RE has conflicts for me on 2 of the 3 remaining races, so that's out. Except for the one left.
