I have a pretty full race schedule already (for me). I'm signed up for 3 races in September 9/16/29 and I'm contemplating signing up for the grand traverse (Aspen to CB 40 miles/8k ascending at altitude) on September 3rd. I've never done an endurance race, I'd be on a new tallboy not my enduro. Will this kill me for my steamboat enduro the next weekend? The enduro is my preference where I will be pushing it. I wouldn't be trying to be competitive in the GT, just finish. This would be my biggest ride to date although I've done a 20 miler with 4K of climbing.

My early season riding consists of 3 desert riding/climbing trips in march-June with an enduro in May. No races in June and one in July and one in August. A week before the grand traverse I'll be on a river trip in Idaho so no riding.

Anyone with more experience think my body can handle this? I'm 32, currently 200lb 6'1 on my way down to 180 by my 5/6 race.
