    Raceface turbine r wheelset

Anyone using these wheels for Enduro racing?
    Any issues with them ?
Apparently some of them make an annoying clicking issue !

I've only done one race on them but I beat the hell out of them on a regular basis and they are strong! They don't dent easily like my old ARC27s and they don't flex like DT M1700s. The clicking is from a piece of detatched welding flash. They will warranty the rim but it's not a structural issue. So far they are the best alloy wheel I've ridden.

This trail can be rough on wheels and people are always breaking parts on it. Looks less chunky and steep on video. GoPro effect. *shrug*

I've been riding them in 29er flavor for a year or so. coming off of my last few bikes built up with carbon wheels. I'm a big fan and would def buy again. stiffness and durability has been very good -- like jcwages above, the rim sidewalls have been very tough, no big dents or flat spots. I've hardly had to true them and the spokes have generally stayed tight/tensioned. hub engagement is fast. weight is pretty close to carbon (if you opt for an enduro race-worthy carbon rim). what's not to like??

Yes, GoPros have that magical ability. But the speed did show on the video - I thought for sure you were going to eat it any second! Nice job.

My buddy just got a bike built with Rs, and they set up tubeless with 2.35 Nics just fine. Nice to know they should be bombproof.

Haha thanks but that was my buddy Zach from Trail Peek riding. I'm not nearly so fast.

Here is a bit more of the trail system at a little slower speed.

As well as Downieville which is notoriously hard on tires/rims. (Trail Peek again)

Without going too far off topic, yes the rim are pretty bombproof so far.

I posted a short update on these wheels after a year of use.
