Chocolate Bunny Monarch Crest Enduro Roll Call!

Who's in on this one? I can't wait! Will be pre-riding the stages Aug. 17th and 18th on my way home from the Leadville 100.

It looks like an awesome time, but I can't afford it, and snow is a definite possibility

Edit to add- I really do love that it's not a ski lift enduro, and that it's an equal payout. I just can't afford it on a bike mechanic's pay. I've ridden from the top of Granite Mountain during the Vapor Trail 125. That's an amazing piece of descending right there.

Is this Andrea from 92Fifty? I'm Ryan. You helped me get the Mach 4c put together before The Grand Junction Off-Road. Loving this bike!

Yeah, it was definitely pricey but I too much prefer the back country non bike park events so I wanted to support this race. It looks phenomenal. Snow is a very real possibility but fingers crossed we can get it done.

with all this rain we've been having, I can almost guarantee we're gonna get shit tons of snow this year. I wouldn't waste money on this race.

Too late for me so let's hope there is a break in the weather late August through September. Could be epic!

Wife and I are in, bringing a crew from out of state. How are the mountain tops looking?
Weather expectations? I'm sure it'll be COLD at the morning starts.

I've been watching the weather on Monarch Pass. I've been seeing highs mid to high 60's and lows to about 40. No snow that I have heard about. A little rain. Fingers crossed it continues to hold out a little longer. I'm heading up Monday. Plan is to try and get a run in on each stage over Tuesday and Wednesday. Chill out and rest the legs Thursday. Ready to shred Friday.

We'll be racing 'em blind, but we did that at cb ultra last year too. Doesn't bother me, I just hope stages are marked well. I don't want to have to stop at an intersection and pull out a map!

I rode 3 of the 5 stages on my way home from Leadville back in August and following them unmarked was no problem at all. You should have no problem.

Weather was not too bad. Little sprinkles of frozen water up high early on Sunday, but otherwise quite lovely.
