If you haven't tried the Mayhem before, it works like this: It is a solo and team format (2 to 4 person), multi-stage time trial event. Groups of teams and solos will depart in groups of 4-8. While on course your team will encounter 5 timed sections that will focus mainly on technical or DH oriented runs with some features. Each section will feature several “safe” lines that bypass more advanced lines. Think risk = reward. Each rider from your team will take an individual run on each 3-6 minute trail section. The fastest two individual times from each section will be combined for your team’s overall scoring. The Solo's will battle it out with each other to stake their claim to a piece of the $4000 prize purse!

This is a fantastic event, can't wait for this year's edition. I bet there's more berms and jumps on those trails than every other trail in Ohio combined. It's going to be sick!
