Not every rider has a spot tracker so leaders are not that accurate. My guess is that Kurt Refsnider is out front.

I'm posting my "Race Day" report on USCyclingReport.com now for an update on how things are going.
The leaders are close to finishing.

I show Lenny Goodell at 13:42 on a SS! Result seem to be not very clear.
I'm checking on line as I could not make it over to Salida today, are you there banks?

    Another one for the books

The Cascade and Marshall Pass Aid Station splits will be up once I have a chance to enter them, probably by tonight. Congrats to all who lined up. Clear skies and nearly full moon made it one of the classic Vapor Trail 125s ever.

    TomP,

Wow, what an event! I lined up for the first time. I THINK I enjoyed it. It was brutally hard, and by far the hardest race I have done. Kudos to all the support crew. thanks for putting it on. Not sure if I'll line up agan.

BTW, Jon Davis is my neighbor and great friend. He set out to break the course record, but not only broke it, he smashed it. I wonder who will line up next year to break it.

Thanks to all of the awesome people in Salida for putting on the VT125 again this year! I enjoyed my time again on the course, and the conditions this year were just top notch with the full moon and tacky soil. Absolute Bikes really puts on once heck of a show....see you all again next year!

Oh, and I know they don't call it Bongo Billies any more, but they (Salida Cafe??) still serve the best blueberry pie on the planet. That pie alone makes up for that climb out of Starvation Creek. :-)
I'll be back next year for sure!

Thanks to everyone involved in this monster,it was super hard and super fun. Most of all thanks to Mother Nature for the full Moon and great trail conditions. If you want to do a race thats worth every penny this is it,no B.S. from the staff to the course and to the racers The Vapor Trail 125 has it all,and it will kick your ASS!! Looking forward to next year,be safe.
