Has anyone on board done this race? It sounds like an awsome adventure. I'm thinking of possibly doing the race.Any insight on training, bike (I have a SC superlight and Ellsworth Truth) and pit fall avoidance.Things you would avoid etc
    Thx Eric S

I'll be posting that type of info and input from at least 10 racers I know, not including myself, that have done that race over the next few months on my blog. In the mean time, start training now and work on your climbing. There's quite a bit of it down there. And don't forget to include some stair master workouts or something similar for all the hike-a-bike you'll encounter, especially if it's muddy. Teamdickey wrote up his experience from 2004 here
