    Breck Epice Starts Today!

Northwest style moisture has the trails in killer HERO shape! The Firecracker 50 traffic helped as well.
TT prolouge today @ 3pm and then the Colorado Trail loop tomorrow. LOTS of beautiful single track!

    go to breckepic.com for details!

    The best trails are STILL...

Anyone know the link to Team Dicky's daily blog specific to the Breck Epic?
He is not using his own blog due to winning the contest.

    Thanks, OGG

Great day by day write ups on the epic in Velo News. As was reported, the event went off really well. I didn't talk to one unhappy racer. Get your entry in for next year.

Super event! This event is mountain biking how it should be: Long loops, technical trail, hike-a-bikes, and snow/water crossings. You can bet I will be back next year! This race doesn't necessarily favor the super fast bike racer....but rather that person or team that can deal with pain, suffering, and mental side of the race. Of course, the speed does help

Speaking of next year, the event is 6 full stages (no prologue) starting on Aug. 22, 2010. Also expect longer stages...and the start/finish being held at the ice rink just south of town on Boreas Pass Rd. Field limit when they told us the dates last week will be 250 for 2010

Here is an image from the Wheeler Stage that I hacked from the interweb.....
