80mm forks on slack 100mm bikes

Is anyone running an 80mm fork on their bike? It seems like these slacker angles and bigger tires would play nicely with an 80mm fork.

I am due to having a smaller frame. For the most part I wish I had 100mm due to how close I get to maxing it out.
