Rear shock ? for '03 Truth

I bought a Romic Twin Tube w/450# ti spring on Ebay and it was listed as being 6.5 x 1.5 taken off an '03 Truth.
The picture on the auction looked like the actual size of the shock so I measured it and it measured 7.5 x 2.0. So now I am worried. Can someone tell me the size shock that came on that frame.

    I need a 6.5x1.5 for my' 03 Isis.

    Thanks,
    Greg

I just measured mine and it is 6.5 by 1.5. That shock might be from a '04 that was bought in late 03.

So, just curious, when you bought your '03 did you expect it to be able to convert from 4" to 5" of travel? I did, that's why I got it, that and the frame style.

And what do you think about the new Distance? Personally, I feel cheated out of the extra inch that I deserved in '03. I asked Ellsworth if the swingarm might make a diff. and if I could swap them, but alas, no.

I've decided that I'm just going to ride it like it has 5", because size doesn't matter!

I knew when I bought it, 4 inches is all I could get. I also feel cheated. When I saw the Distance for the first time all I could think about is how I wish I had 5 inches. I know I don't need it, but it would be nice to just to have.

I did get my shock today and it is 6.5x1.5. I called Romic yesterday and they said it could'nt be 1.5 if it had a 450# spring. They told me the 1.5 springs come in even 100's. When I got my shock I checked the spring and found out it is a 500# spring not 450#.

    Thanks for the help,
    Greg
