    Moment Cable Guide

I had on my Moment this little piece of black plastic that sat under the middle of the top tube. It looked like a cable guide which the rear derail. cable snapped into. This piece was mounted to the top tube by double sided tape.

Was this put on after or from the factory? Mine came off and there is some noticeable slack as the cable hangs down now. Anyone know of a good replacement or where I could locate another?

    Thanks-

That was installed by the mechanic that built your bike.

I just got my Moment frame from the shop yesterday and it does not have the stick on cable guide. I demo'd a Moment that has the stick on guide too except it was used for the rear disc brake cable. Looks like Ellsworth needs to add an additional set of guides.

You can get those in bike shops for about $2.50. Jenson USA sells them.

    keeps the rear brake hose....

from slapping against the top tube. I installed one on my moment after about a week of ownership - the noise was driving me crazy!
