    Ellsworth Evolution or Rogue Forty?

    Hello!

There are so many different types of trail bikes. I'm really confused as to what I should be looking at. I am interested in the Ellsworth Evolution and Rogue Forty. What's the difference? Both are 140 mm. Both state that they can climb. I need something that can climb but I love a good downhill too.

Any input or advice would be appreciated.

I haven't been on the 40 so can't speak to that. But, my evolution has been great. Climbs well, descends great. Can't really quantify it, the bike just rides really nice. I really like 29ers so that's why I leaned towards the evolution. I also like the flexibility of the convert platform (can run 27.5+ or 29).

I'm sure you can't go wrong with the 40 though! But my vote would be evolution
