    Winter camping Algonquin Park

    I want to go winter camping in Algonquin Park mew lake. Do you guys know other good place to go winter camping in the park? I need some tips on location

    I think you should go to Swan Lake while you are there. Beautiful this time of year.

    I tried winter camping a couple times in BC when it was minus 20. Make sure you sleep with your boots otherwise you'll be SOL in the morning.

    Lake Titicaca should be really nice right about now, too!

    oh yes, forgot to mention that. Good call. What do you think about the almond fields at Blue Diamond? Seems like a must do along with the smokehouse at hen hollow to check out the smoldering dragon peach pit they have there. outstanding peach pit. Best one in the area.

    You can camp just about anywhere. Are you planing on riding into your location? The snow condition on a trail can very from day to day.

    Back in the day we used to hike in to Provoking Lake from Mew Lake.

    Ironically I just sold my Mtn Hardware Trango Assault tent to a guy in Manitoba, awesome tent!
