    I'll be there...

I'm heading up Friday morning. I'm in the 30-39 expert category. There will be a few other guys there from my team (Northern Cycle). Our team jersies are bright orange and blue - they're hard to miss.

All I know about the course is it will be really hilly and it's the hardest course out of all the O-cup courses.

    See you there.

I'll be there! I live in Ottawa, so this is the closest O-Cup on the circuit...about 45-50 minutes. I raced 'Bogie last year and have been up there a couple times, so I know what to expect. As courses go, there's nothing like 'Bogie on the O-Cup circuit.

Heh, how is your Titus RacerX?

Is it living up to expectations?
Good on our relatively smooth single-track trails, with nice and stiff rear end for climbing?

Almost done....but I've been saying that for a while

I got my frame, fork, and the majority of any remaining parts on the Wednesday (June 16th) proceeding my 24 Hr solo race at Solstice, so I opted to just leave it in the box and focus on the race. Then, the week following, I was just swamped with work, etc., since I was preparing for a week's vacation the following week. Then, I was gone for a week.

When I had arrived home, the King wheels, XTR FD and SLR saddle had arrived. But, the King Ti headset was still outstanding...but it had been shipped on June 22nd, so I knew it was due to arrive sometime this week...and it did - it arrived yesterday. Unfortunately, the XTR FD was the wrong clamp diameter (31.8mm)....I need 34.9mm. Fortunately, I managed to borrow a buddy's older XTR 34.9mm FD in the interim while my new one arrives.

So, to make a long story short. I just got back from my LBS where I had my headset pressed in, grabbed some derailleur cable housing and some steerer tube spacers. I hope to get the bike done tonight....but I won't be using it at 'Bogie even if I do get it done.
