Where can I donate my old, but working, mtb?

Got a new bike and I'm wondering if there is anywhere in the GTA or surrounding areas that I could donate my old mtb to. It's not pretty, but it works

Would love to be able to give it to someone who needs it for personal use, not for resale.

Is there a legit bike donation program that anyone knows of?

    TIA

This is a somewhat US-centric suggestion, but if there's a NICA high school racing league anywhere near you,

    National Interschoolastic Cycling Foundation

consider tracking down a nearby team, contact the coach, and ask if they have any new kids in need of a decent bike. Assuming your bike's not a 40 lb DH sled of course...

New Hope Bikes in Hamilton seems to have a good program too.

I think it can be donated by the shop (if a customer needs it), or can be sold if they find a buyer. The $ then goes to keeping the shop and the charity bikes flowing.

    Check out Africycle
They ship bikes to Malawi where they are greatly appreciated.
    They are located in Uxbridge.

I've sent bikes to Cuba before Bikes for Cuba - Donate Bikes, Parts and Accessories Jeff runs a great program and lives near Newmarket, he can sometimes arrange to pick the bike up.

Good story, I emailed the kid to see if he needs a bike builder.

Correction: e-mail bounced back. Will try again tomorrow.
