    What trails am I missing?

I realized there are tons of trails in Ontario which I haven't ridden.

I will have lots of spare time in October, so I would like to discover some new singletrack. I am willing to drive up to 2 hours from Richmond Hill.

What am I missing? Would you skip any of the trails I listed below?

    Thanks for your critique!

Here is what I plan to do:

    • Midhurst
    • 3 stage
    • Kelso
    • Buckwallow
    • Mansfield
    • Palgrave
    • King City
    • Coulson Hill
    • Kolapore
    • porcupine ridge

    I have already done:
    • Albion
    • Dagmar
    • Durham
    • Glen Major
    • Hardwood Hills

    Hilton Falls/Agreement Forest
    Turkey Point
    Horseshoe/Copeland Forest
    Waterdown
    Ravenshoe
    Torrance Barrens
    Ganaraska Forest
    Waterloo Hydrocut

That should keep you busy till the snow falls.

Christie, if you are in the area

Lots of luck - every year I am amazed at how crappy our fall weather is.

Those are some great trails. Unfortunately, you may have left it a bit late. This time in October is about the beginning of road riding till the trails harden up again. Then good riding till the snow hits and the awesomeness of fat biking all winter. Where did the off season go?

King City and Coulson are pretty tiny. Always worth seeing but maybe not making a special trip to see. Palgrave you can add into a trip to Albion any time. I haven't been to Midhurst but everything else is pretty good.

Harold Town Conservation Area, well worth the trip to Peterborough though there is not much else in the area. There is enough in HTCA for a day's ride, and the local trail association is doing great work up there on the system

Skip Coulson Hill. It is not worth the drive from Richmondhill.

Instead, keep going up the highway to Copeland in Horseshoe Valley. You'll most likely get lost and end up hating the hills, but once you find a good loop the place is golden. If you need a tour guide, send me a message.
