Went for a winter ride today

There was a lot sun today do I went for a ride today. The trails was covered in light snow and it was just about perfect for riding. Did anyone else make it out this weekend ?

Oh I fell and slid across the big sheet of ice. That hurt lol.

I was out for a rip today, the sunshine was perfect. Not much ice in Waterdown, just a few hikers.

Yup, I was out. Those views look awful familiar.

Ravenshoe again for me, same as last weekend, stellar winter conditions with a layer of ice that only studded tires can love ...

There were quite a few tracks in Waterdown. I'd say there were at least five other people out besides me.
Please enjoy seeing this terrible collection of me - something wonderful is about to happy.

Did another quick spin of Christie. Nice dry snow. A few other people had been out - always nice to see.

Interestingly, I posted maps on Saturday; by Sunday one was already missing.

I ran across two other riders in Borer's Falls CA on my way home. One was on a Turner - I thought for a second it might have been you!

Well, if you were headed downhill on Valley Road and ran into a dweeby looking guy on a Trek coming uphill before we all dropped into the trail together, I think we had an encounter! Small world!

How was the condition in waterdown? I wonder if it'd be worthwhile to fabricate a set of studded tires for winter riding! Too bad I can only get them in on weekends

Waterdown was in excellent shape. The crunchy snow provided plenty of grip and was just slippery enough to keep you on your toes.

But next it will rain, and then go below freezing again. Who knows what next weekend will look like.
