I am too tired from last week ride at durham. I have to save gas nowadays. Have you check the price of gas recently? it is outrageous !!! I can only go biking outside of TO once twice a month.

How can you still be tired from riding a week ago????
Life would certainly suck if i kept saying i was tired al the time from riding. Hell I ride 5 or 6 times a week ....some good epic rides and just keep wanting more.

Just think of what the people doing the transrockies went through week riding from Fernie to Canmore...rain, sleet, snow, illnesses, injuries( some competitors airlifted from the trails)
These people are truly amazing athletes.

I have been out of shape during the winter. I had done few rides this summer. My muscles are not in prime condition

being out of shape over the winter is all the more reason to get your butt on the saddle and ride. It doesn't matter where you ride or for how long...just as long as you ride.
And no excuses about not having anywhere decent to ride...I'm sure that if you tried hard enough you could find some where to ride in Toronto

FWIW...all the top notch pro riders spend more time riding the roads than they do on the trails. Thats how tyhey get there conditioning up there.

Ah well it was a good ride

Second time I have been to Waterdown and the second time it rained non-stop from the time we got there till we left.

Ripped out my rear brake line about five minutes in, the rest of the ride was pretty interesting with no back brakes in the muck.

Oh well next sunday off to the hydrocut

    Cheers

Where is this Hydrocut you're talking about? Is it singletrack?
