    Transport-O-Mod (car pooling help in June 2015?)

    I have a trip to see family in GTA planned for June, staying longer than usual this time. I plan to get out for some casual rides. Thinking it might be fun to get out to a couple of races also while I am in town also, but have no access to car unless I rent (which seems like overkill on the expense side to do something like a weeknight race).

    I will be staying with family in Port Credit near the foot of Hurontario, but could probably get myself + bike elsewhere in town to meet up to minimize use of driver's time. Happy to provide $$$ for gas or road munchies.

    Not set on anything, but possibilities could include any or all of;

    Albion weeknight - June 10th
    Hardwood Canada Cup - June 14th (11:30am start)
    Albion weeknight - June 17th

    Anyone who has room in their vehicle and is willing to shuttle me around for any of these (or maybe alternate weeknight events) send PM. All offers and help much appreciated.

    I can give you a lift up to albion on the 17th.
    Booked up the other two nights with my own family visit.
    I'll send you a PM
    Cheers, Dave

    Don't worry about it - not worth your time or effort coming in from Kingston. Much appreciate the consideration though. I'm still hopeful that as the dates approach someone else will chime in about the Canada Cup June 14th (although I am 11:30am start I'm happy to go up earlier). The June 10th weeknighter at Albion Hills would be fun if it works out somehow but no big deal. dskunk now has me covered for Jun 17th at Albion Hills.

    Perfect - thanks for the details you sent by PM. Should be fun, and I would be happy to soak up hours of your stories from GDR 2014 if you are willing to share.

    Maybe she'll be relieved to know you'll have a (semi-captive) outlet for a few hours? Any time you are about to say something to her about GDR, just stop yourself and save it up for June 17th. I've got ears for the whole kit and caboodle.

    Actually trying to get down 2 weekends next month where I cross Toronto to do stuff. Because once Capt Sydor's bon voyage party. Won't be going past the Don till sometime in August. Avoiding Pan Ams silliness.

    Not able to help with wheels, but I hope you'll have time for a Don ride while you're out here!
