I bet these shows have run their course and the deal hunting has long passed. Dealers are feeling the USD squeeze and there's no making up the losses in current conditions.

Bike prices across the board are up 20% or more for 2016, will be interesting to see what happens to sales when people realize they are paying an extra $500-$1000 or more for the same product next year.

I've gone to the last three Fall shows. Been burned every time except for the occasional deal on small items, which isn't worth the money and effort to get there. I doubt I'll return.

I gave up on the fall show years ago. If you are looking for a bike and get lucky enough to find what you want in your size, then you can get a deal. I never found any great deals there on parts or found what I wanted.

If you know what you want, just go the shop a week or two before the fall show and work a deal.

I bought my bike at the 2014 fall show, but I didn't save a dime because what I paid was the clearance price in the shop. Actually, I spent more when you consider the cost of travel, parking and admission. However, it was good to look around at what the other shops had offer in my budget.

    agreed.

The last "new" bike I bought was a few years ago, git it from ZM Cycle the week before the show.

I wound up going to the show anyway, and the asking price at the show was higher than i paid.
