    My Gripe...

My Gripe with the TSN2 coverage...

I'm viewing on Shaw Direct with an HDPVR (recording it for later viewing).
I recorded the whole 3 hour feed yesterday (allowing an extra 5 minutes before and after the time slot) only to find the actual coverage went beyond the time slot listed in the programming guide. It cut off the last 15 to 20 minutes of Stage 1. So not sure if its Shaw Directs error with their programming guide or TSN2's screw up for not accurately listing the programs entire length.

I'm sure there must have been other disappointed Shaw Direct customers.

Last year when I recorded everything, I made that mistake once, and then later set the recording to stop about 2h after it was supposed to finish. I just deleted the stages after I watched them, so it's not like I was wasting storage space.

The times are only a estimate of how long the race will be. Stage one was a bit longer because of the big pile up about 10kms from the end. Also a lot of it has to do how the riders are feeling and riding. I've seen stages that end about a 45 minutes before they were supposed to because of the speed that day.
