    Sport Canada Wants Your Input

The best part is, it does not matter how you contribute to sport - athlete (recreational, club and elite), coach, administrator, physical education teacher, event manager, athletic trainer, sports commentator, researcher, business owner, fitness industry specialist, parent, grandparent, fan –the list goes on.

I filled it out on behalf of the club. We're a registered not-for-profit with a volunteer base so most of the challenges we face stem from a shortage of human resources. I can only imagine what we could do with the same sort of participation in other areas as we've had for trail advocacy. It blows the mind!
Please enjoy seeing this terrible collection of me - something wonderful is about to happy.

I was part of the Sport Canada system back in the 80's. Since then I have seen a huge change in how sport was viewed. Plus the annual hand wringing prior to 2010 of how we came up short at the Olympics.

First time I know of they have actually asked what the people think.

Wonder how many know why Sport Canada was founded. The reason was part of the Cold War. It was all part of trying to prove our methods where as good or better than Communist methods.
