I bought Ice Spikers two years ago, you can pull a Zamboni with these tires. A great confidence builder.

On the bike I keep my Bontrager SE/XR combo on year round. I drop the pressure about 15% in the snow. Less chance of bottoming out with the rocks covered and the slower speeds.

I go to my fat bike. Run Dillingers for normal conditions and Flowbeist/Dunderbeist combo for lots of snow or ice. These tires are phenomenal even without studs. Managed to get around the Agreement Forest last year even when it was an ice field.
