    Sauble beach trails

I am going to be in Sauble beach this May and hope to ride while there. I have no interest in road riding so I am hoping there are some trails in the area for some morning rides.
Can anyone lead me in the right direction? Trail head location? Anything?

There are some trails the Bruce runs Mountain Bike the Bruce | Ontario, Canada. The Lindsey tract is about 30 min north of Sauble Beach and is a lot of fun. Wairton is closer and ok.
I have heard there are some trails in Hepworth.
I do not know of any in Sauble Beach.

Thanks. I am hoping there is something I can ride to from my friends place without taking the car. I noticed some of these trails are not loops either. Got to take what I can get I guess.

I live in the area. Are you staying right in sauble? There is some trails near the sau le river but ive heard they are very short. I havent bothered to go up there. If you can drive, hepworth is good although its recovering from logging. Owen sound trails are in good shape but nothing really marked.

Lindsay is prety fun but is a bit of a drive for the length of trail.

Let me know if you have anyother questions.

Even short is fine . I am there (yes staying at the beach) for a guys weekend and not a bike trip. I am just going to head out in the AM on my own. Will I have trouble finding the Sauble river trails?

Head north on main street(goes along the beach)and take that to sauble falls rd, or take the road at the main intersection (sauble falls parkway, north aswell) and you will hit it eventually.the road by the beach will be alittle less direct but have a look on google and see.

    Its saublefalls provincial park.

Are these the xc ski trails off 13 near Johns Lake that are being discussed here?? Ontario Bike Trails lists 18k that looks like nice forest ride. It's either here or Lindsay Tract ride on my way to catch the ferry in Tobermory...can't decide which to do

Not that im aware of. I dont think they are that long but I havent ridden them. Lidsay would be a the better stop if you are headed up there.

I have since talked to at least a couple of people who are familiar with riding in that area and neither of them knew about these trails.
Not a good sign so Lindsay Tract still looks to be best option for us there. Might just pass on riding there altogether and do some of the Bruce hikes instead.
