Rides near Quebec city and La-Malbaie-Pointe-au-Pic

I am planning a family vacation this August staying in Quebec city and La-Malbaie-Pointe-au-Pic. I am the lone hardcore XC rider in the family AND will be racing in the 24-hours of Allamuchy here in northern New Jersey USA, so I am looking for good riding real close to these locations. (I don't think I will be able to squeeze a day to Mont Ste Anne.) Can anyone recommend anything? Thanks in advance!

you should check for Le Massif not so far from La Malbaie, i'm pretty sure you'll be able to ride over there. It's a nice mountain for ski in the winter.

About 10 miles north of downtown Québec, the local racers have built a REALLY nice singletrack park.

Here is the link that shows were the trails are:

These trails are almost in my backyard. Send me a not when you will be around end perhaps we could ride together. I can’t promise anything though. With two small kids, my free time is getting hard to negotiate !

There is also this spot, also north of Quebec:

There is also some nice trails at the Camping le Genevrier in Malbaie :

    Have fun !

If you look at what Conqueror has posted you will see he posted a link to the map of the St-Emile trails. This is really close to downtown Q. City, ie, within 20min.

There are also trails under the Hydro Quebec lines in Charlesbourg that I am aware of but I've never been there. And of course there are xc trails in Mont-Saint-Anne. Depending of where you lodge in Q. City it's not that far.
