    Those are fat bikes!

The tires are almost 4".. on a 26" wheel.

Check out the Surly Pugsley: Pugsley | Bikes | Surly Bikes
and the new 4.5" Surly Moonlander: Moonlander | Bikes | Surly Bikes

Also.. there is a whole section of the forum dedicated to Fat Bikes: http://forums.mtbr.com/fat-bikes/

Nice pics as always. I am so tempted to get one these bikes as well. I have blown my budget for bike stuff this year, but I think this will be on the horizon.

If I understand DD correctly these trails are on private land, but he has landowner(s) permission to ride the trails. Is it common for the general public to access these or only those that have been granted permission? My point being there is ample parking at the turnaround, my dog Blue would love this loop, and he would be safe ...ie I wouldn't have to worry about him being injured by a sled

Yes, the bike is very photogenic.

I rode tonight in some local trails and must have been stopped by about 10 separate dog walkers/hikers/runners inquiring about the bike. I have a feeling the shop is going to get inundated with all the people I've run into that have been so interested.
