thanks to peter @ misfit psycles for his crazy deal on this frame. he was a pleasure to deal with.
thankfully i had enough spare parts around to build most of it up. not my intende spec, but it'll do for now.

Sharp! What kind of pedals you gonna get?

I'm strangely attracted to stainless Mentals and they'd go swell with the Syncros wheels!

Please enjoy seeing this terrible collection of me - something wonderful is about to happy.

i already have a spare set of mg1s and 50/50s. it depends with which parts i actually go with. those are not the wheelset i desire to have and they are currently for sale.

it's no longer an adult run bike

jason at hammer city cycles was able to press in 24mm xtr bearings into the spanish bb and i made some custom spacers to run it.

i managed to save probably 50% of the weight of a 3-piece spanish bmx crank setup

    build list is as follows:

    misfit psycles nummers
    dmr trailblade II 20mm rigid
    avid bb7 w/ 140mm rotor
    thomson seatpost
    felt saddle
    chris king headset
    thomson x4 70mm stem
    truvativ holzfeller riser bars
    giant xc lock on grips
    kmc chain
    xtr 170mm cranks
    blackspire 32t chainring
    surly 17t cog
    wellgo mg1 pedals
    schwalbe table tops
syncros ds28 rims with abbah bolt on rear/hope pro II front

it was mine, but we discussed the possibilities and workarounds and saw no reason not to do it.

That looks like a great build. I like the set up with the gold accents. I have a similar look going on my bike. What are and where did you get the gold pedals?

they are wellgo mg1 and you can buy them pretty much anywhere. ebay has a bunch and they're about $40 shipped.

Gold 50/50s would probably look pretty sharp too and now that the new ones are out, there might be some good deals out there.
