    OT: Provincial Elections Straw Poll!
While I'm fascinated by the thread about cleat position... I thought it would be fun to turn to a less contentious issue and talk politics as a change of pace. ;)

Feel free to let your allegiances shine through, but this ain't your run-of-the-mill poll.

I want to know how you're voting not who you're voting.

I'm voting along party lines this time although technically, you could say I'm voting against a leader. :)

My general rule of thumb is that any party that is in power for more than a couple of terms gets complacent, corrupt and ineffective. Accordingly, I tend to vote against the incumbent every second or third election, just to keep everyone honest.

All three so-called leaders have annoyed me. If I do go vote, it'll be a vote for the true underdog.

Normally I vote for the party unless their candidate is a total nutjob, in which case I do a write-in. This time around I'm changing things up a bit - I'm voting for the candidate who gives me the best bribe.

pc = Less singletrack, cancel contracts to build more trails.

Uh, why isn't voting for the winner of the kitten eating contest a choice?

    Let's see,

Never talk about what you make or pay in taxes
Never talk about what religion you practice
Never talk about who you vote for.

    Sound advice from Grandad.

Should pedal style, cleat position (if you ride clips) and seatpost height be added to that list?

ndp = universal free singletrack for everyone! Dunno who is paying for it yet....
lib = introducing new singletrack environmental stewardship fee* (* this is NOT a tax, I promise!).
pc = let's privatize all the singletrack.
green = installing solar-powered carbon-credit vending machines at trailheads so we can ride carbon-neutral.
