Ontario Bus Trip to Ray's Indoor MTB Park!

Hey everyone. I'm putting together a bus trip on Dec. 18 going to Ray's Indoor MTB Park in Cleveland.

In case you haven't heard about Ray's, check it out at http://www.raysmtb.com . It's a 66,000 square foot freeride playground with North Shore stunts, jumps, berms and more.

The coach bus (with bike vids) will leave from St. Catharines, about an hour south of Toronto and we'll have around 6 hours to ride the indoor park.

The price is $95 CDN and that includes the bus trip, lunch on the way down, entry to the park, pizza for dinner while there and a bunch of draw prizes.

    Nice

Nice idea, but a little too close to Chritmas "Visa" time for me....

Take lots of pics and let us know if it worth the next Bus trip...and how close it is to the DAWG pound throw in an overnighter and tailgate party all in one

    Good luck

    cheers

Just thought I'd bump this post back up since it's now a done deal.

What a blast it was for a late December ride, lots of jumps/ramps and skinnies to keep everyone busy for hours on end, I've never been so tired.

Here's a link to the post on Dropmachine with other links to pics. Dan is hoping to do this again in late Jan and maybe again in late March/early April as a pre season warm up. Highly recommended!

    Good job! Reviews?

So, guys let us know how it was. I'd be interested in feedback.

It's great to hear about the organization and the planning to go to Ray's.

Hopefully he was able to hook you up with some schwag or discounts for bringing in the group.

When is the next trip? I'd love to go but I only get every 5th Sat off work and had plans for last weekend already, any chance the next trip will happen March 19th?

    Cheers!

I've gone to the past two trips and have already signed up for #3. It's a great day of riding, if you like stunts or jumping then you can't lose. There's a wide variety in stunts to play on from low level basic stuff to ultra skinny sections, pretty much everything you'd need to start feeling comfortable riding structures.
If you like jumping or are interested in jumps again they've got it covered, all jumps are tabletops - no gaps - so if you're going too slow there's no danger in casing. They've even got a foam pit to play in if you want to get used to jumping & tweaking the bike.

We watch mtb videos on the way down and a movie on the way back. Yeah it's a hell of a long day but it's an experience that sticks in your head for weeks/months after.
