need some tips for covering bike for a winter drive.

I need to bring my bike in for some warranty work and it has to ride on the hitch rack. Takinf fam to airport on the way so no room inside.

Im tempted to try some heavy duty garbage bags and duct tape but I suspect it wont last long and cause some extra strain on the rack.

Any tips would be great. About a 6 hour drive.

No matter what you use you're going to obscure your tail lights. You may have to get some trailer lights and mount them on your car rack.

I thought about that. I have a large suv and the 3rd brake light is pretty high. Plus I dont plan on wrapping the wheels for the reason you stated.

I might have pallet wrap at work so that will work out well.
