    Montreal Area Riding

Me and my friend started to get into mountainbiking a year or two back and now were searching for more places to ride. Weve gone to Prevost, Val david, Bromont (XC), Charlottenbourgh. Were getting alittle bored of these places and are looking for more...but we dont really know many mountain biking locations. BTW how hardcore is Bromont DH, we checked out the riders and they, and their bikes were all decked out. we figured it was alittle to hardcore for our bikes or skill level....i only have a norco fury...not really hardcore dh material :P, and my buddies bike is a specialized enduro.

anyhelp or info would be great, we both wanna get even more into biking this year

    Here's a suggestion:

Check out VeloEpic cycling club. I've recently moved to Mtl from Toronto and counting on them to show me around this part of the country.

You can also check out AllezY.net

We have a section describing trails with maps and such, and the forum of course!

The two best sites have been mentionnend...

You could also try "Les coeurs vaillants" in St-Bruno... they have apparently a nice trail there... It is limited to club members and you can only ride at certain time during the week.

Come and see the trails on Allezy.net

If you want a non-competive club that rides every week, then come join us!

We ride on Tuesday in Rougemont and on Wednesday up north... it depends...

If you're always in the laurentien, you could try to become a member of the PDN (pedales du Nord --- www.pdn.ca) but they're not looking for new members because there is simply too much of them...

    See you on the trails!
