    Looks like Vandeman is going to the pen

    Assuming the information I'm reading is correct, one of the charges carries a minimum 30 day jail sentence. Looks like that friend to mountain bikers worldwide, Mike Vandeman, is going away for a little vacation as a guest of the state, due to altercations with mountain bikers.

    More information on the various stages of the trial here;

    Enduramil : as the master of forum cross-pollination, I am trusting you to be the first to post this up on nsmb.com , which should get a few cheers.

    the system will treat him like a good guy who had a momentary lapse of reason. he'll walk away with time he's already served. in canada, it's 2-for-1. the real hit will be monetarily. don't think he won't continue to preach hate. his minions will carry on his dirtywork. perhaps angrier and with more contempt. they must now avenge their hero.

    Lets hope it's a spot with no internet access.

    If he gets net access while behind bars I predict some great internet banter between him and the mtb community.

    Cool, the TGR people have a time machine, since the jury only reached verdicts yesterday.

    The most serious charge was toasted by the judge a mistrial. If that charge goes to a new trial and he loses, 30 days will be the least of his problems.

    It sure felt like last week...

    Maybe I've been looking down the barrel of tooo much website code the last couple days.

    Went back to look for the updated thread but can't seem to find it. Might need to lay off the crack pipe.

    Maybe spend less time solving the world pedal crisis.

    I only wish for one Faustian favour here... besides thou shalt have no other idols before your mountain bike, for she is a jealous God.
