New question here. looking for parking spot in kelso area

Sometimes I am bikeing during a week in Kelso, recently I was leaving my car by Tim Hortons near Derry Rd and Tremaine Rd. here is the map.

It is like 4km to the park. Is there a closer area to park the car except the parking lots by the entrance to the park?

    Thanks for info.

at the top of the hill, opposite to the parking lot. just go down the rd. about a km and part on the side. that's what we've been doing for years. the NO Parking signs end about 1/2km down that rd. so it's safe

    i usually park in the

serbian community center thing along termaine, just north of the road that goes up the hill on the left hand side, parked by the trees in the right hand side of the parking lot, never given a ticket.

Are paying the trail access fee and just parking off site?

    Thanks for input.

Last time I was parking in the commercial area parking lots on the Steels Ave. it's near the tunel on the east side of the hill. Then I was driving uphill and entered the park at the southern entrance.

I will try your other suggestions.

I think you should not answer questions like Where do you park and avoid paying?
Not Good, but who know that there was such a thing as anti bikes in Ontario.

    I agree...

Pay the fee....If you don't in the end the trails will close...

    Why are people so cheap

Pay the GD fee. I always see people trying to scam out of payind the fee at Albion hills and it pisses my off come on its only 4 bucks. I cant remember how many times some jack ass has stoped me on the trail and said "hey man want me to show you a way to get in here for free". I just try to school them and go about my ride.

    Pay now or suffer later.

My thought exactly... We don't have that many maintained trails in GTA, and people should understand that in the end it will hurt us all...
