Labour Day Weekend Mountain Bike Video in and Around Muskokas

Some clips from a long weekend trip to Sir Sam, Buckwallow, Torrance Barrens, and Hardwood Hills.

Most of the riding was much more technical than the video shows. The smoother bits produce the better video.

Nice. Some good riding there. What happened to Torrence? No footage worth showing or too choppy?

@Zoidberg: Torrance Barrens: battery went dead on one of the cameras, it was our second ride of the day and hot as hell, so it was pretty slow and casual and not a lot of exciting footage, but mostly, I was trying to time the change in riding locations with the changes in the song structure, and Torrance came up short. It was pretty easy technically, very scenic. BlackDogCanoe has taken some amazing photos of that location. Would love to ride it in the fall when the leaves are changing.

@g-t: two GoPro Hero 4 silvers. We kept one mounted to the head tube of my GF's bike the entire weekend. I made a custom mount for that. I'll see if I can post a picture of that mount. I other camera I experimented with. I mounted it on the top tube facing forward and backward, on the back of my helmet, and under the seat facing backward using the standard handlebar mount. I used an Arkon strap mount to mount the camera on the top and down tube pointing forward, and on the fork lower pointing forward and backward.

Great video! I'm moving back to Orillia 15 Oct, would Sir Sam's, Buckwallow, and Hardwood still be open or do they close for the season?
