    Hey, thanks for the heads-up!

My buddy just bought the medium version that they had, and you're right...it IS a killer deal!

It's his first mountain bike, and he is just beside himself with excitement. You helped make him a real happy dude.

And for what it's worth, they had the Expert model of the same bike for $1999.99, and it had some real nice components on it for the price. Wish I'd taken notice of what size it was, but if anyone is interested they could call the store.

Sportchek sometimes really do have some great deal that will shine up your day, Not just bike stuff but sporting goods in gerenal. I just hate feel like being stalked by their saleperson inside. And congrat to your friend, one hack of a deal he picked up. He's gonna have lots of fun with it.

    Glad I could help.

To be honest, I really did think about buying it, and selling all the parts on E-bay. Just looking at the list, I could have nearly doubled my money. The frame has got to be worth what your buddy paid. Unfortunatley, my Visa is max'd, and just couldn't make it happen.

    Hope he enjoys.......
