The brand is "Inline". It's from Italy. I actually picked it up on Saturday. The staff said they sold well last year and customer feedback was good. I figured that with MEC you can return the item at any time if you're not satisfied (can't get that through most bike stores).

I put a steel skewer on my bike and tried it out on the weekend. It takes about 2 minutes to hook up properly. It also came with a riser block.
