Your dog is displaying narcissistic tendencies looking at it's own reflection in that pool... haha! Better take him to the doggy psychologist.

He's been learning that he can't always trust the ice to hold him while he takes a drink. I'm keeping him away from bigger waters but giving him lots of opportunity with small streams etc, until he gets that knowledge dialed in!

Excellent. I especially like the last ones with the setting sun and the tired Blue.
When under pressure, your level of performance will sink to your level of preparation.

A Sony NEX 5, which is one of the new mirrorless SLRs that is very compact, yet has a APS-C size sensor. Mine is last year's model, I got it just over a year ago. There is an upgrade now called the 5-N. Today I was using the 30mm macro lens, and I also have the 18-55mm zoom and the 16mm pancake lens. The pancake is my favourite, but have been playing a lot with the macro lately. Reason being a) I just got it recently, and b) because I'm trying to break out of my wide angle "habit"... which is definitely the field of view I like best.

Thanks Phil!. btw, NEX 5 also does full HD video with all the control of a DSLR. A feature that I'm sure you would put to very good use!

The panorama sweep resolution on that camera is amazing!! That's the only thing I dislike about my Sony H55. It's compact and takes fantastic photos, but to print a panorama won't happen. Can you post a photo of you holding it in your hands? Trying to get an idea for scale.
