    Harmony Creek Conservation Area

Spent a few hours there on Sunday after deciding Durham was not a good idea without studs.
Nice and cold so the ground was hard and fast in most places. Starts to thaw and get mushy after about 10:30 am though. Here's a few pics.

Where is Harmony creek? I'm itching to ride. Tried Hilton falls the other week, but it was way too muddy.

It is in Oshawa, Harmony road exit, head north to Rossland turn right, take the next left and follow the road around as it bends to the right, when the road begins bending back to the left, the parking area is on a little side street on the right.
It would be very muddy there right now too unless you go early in the morning or late at night. It is pretty wet and icy back in the woods in some sections.
Not as much fun as Durham or 3 Rocks but better than nothing.

I wouldn't exactly call it east coast forest. Lake Ontario (1 of the Great Lakes) is about 5 miles south of here.
