Durham Trails + Don Valley... Rideable yet?

Just wondering if anyone out there has tried to ride out around Durahm Forest, Glen Major and the Don Valley.

I'm planning on heading out on an ice-breaker ride this Saturday, but am unsure if the trail conditions are ripe.

    Thanks!

We've been out riding the Don seveal times in the last week, including this evening. Conditions are soft, and we had to walk some trails, notably about half of Fruit Loop, to avoid eroding off-camber sections and other hillside trails that weren't fully supported.

Carruthers Woods from Pottery Road to Cricket Lot is soft but rideable without destroying it. Stunts are fine, the long log, neck breaker, log ride, 100 foot ladder and so on are all holding up well.

A friend was there today and said that the trails are still way too wet.

got this message today about Durham

    Hi Fellow Riders,
Iím sure everyone is anxious to get riding. I drove to Durham Forest today so that I could report on trail conditions. There is still a fair amount of snow and ice in the forest. Iím sure it will be at least 2 weeks before the trails will be ready to ride. ( It may be longer) Please stay off the trails until they are dry. Riding them before they are ready not only wrecks the trails but gives mountain bikers a bad name. I will check the trails out again in another 2 weeks and send out an update.
    Thanks,

I did the same thing yesterday and I couldn't believe to my eyes....

It's either snow covered or super soft.

Keep waiting that's the name of the game right now...

The main drag in the Don is looking pretty good.

The wet sections are the same sections that are wet most of the summer.

    A few trees down.
The above statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration

    Thanks for the replies.

Me and my girlfriend hit The Don today and it sure was ripe! With the exception of cold weather and missing greenery, it was almost like summer.
