Duffins Creek: first snow ride of the season
The snow cover was very irregular in the forest. Some area of trail were completely bare, others were 3" deep with thick heavy snow. Many young trees were bent half over from the heavy sticky snow. and often blocking the trail It was very slow going for much of the time. What is usually a 30 minute loop was just over an hour with a short stop by the railroad tracks.

Recognize the RxR bridge! How was the traction?

Traction was ok except for the uphills. The drag from pushing through the snow was pretty heavy and the rear just started spinning on the climbs.

    Still a. Good ride though.
